Under the direction of a Business Development Director the Marketing Officer must develop and manage business and institutional contacts, arrange presentations and/or meetings with the BDD and seek out new business opportunites. Contribute to and help maintain the contact database. Monitor new government, IO, NGO and EU initiatives concerning education and to evaluate these in terms of opportunity for English4Today / zepMedia

ENGLISH LANGUAGE TUTORS:
Business, IELTS Preparation and Academic English Online Tutors for Sept 2008
Part-time, paid by the hour
Location Europe, USA (West Coast and East Coast time zones), Asia.

English4Today has requirements for experienced TEFL tutors. Please do not apply if you do not meet the required criteria. Tutors are paid by the hour (lesson hour) at the end of each month. Students usually book a group of lessons (10, 15, 20 or 40) and the same tutor accompanies them through the entire course cycle. We try to match tutors to students' time zones, language needs and other tutor preferences. Training for online tutoring is available.

Requirements:

• Must be native English speakers.
• Must have a TEFL/TESOL award or proven teaching experience.
• Must have experience with Business, IELTS or Academic English tutoring.
• Must be computer literate
• Self-motivated, excellent communicator
• Available for flexible hours

An ideal candidate would also:

• have some experience with online teaching and tutoring
• Have some experience in materials development
• Speak at least one other language relatively well
